New Delhi: On the occasion of National Youth Day 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for their achievement as they launched the PSLV with 31 satellites successfully.

"Our ISRO scientists have made us proud yet again. ISRO today created a century in satellite launching. Farmers, fishermen & scientists of the nation will be helped in getting ground details with this success," PM Modi said.

He further stated, "Our strides in space will help our citizens & enhance our development journey. I want to once again congratulate our scientists."

Here is what else he said:

We did not take part in India's independence struggle so we have the responsibility to realise the dreams of those who helped us attain freedom from British rule.

When the country will celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence in 2022, how will the National Youth Day will be celebrated in that year?' You should discuss a plan for that from now.

We did not take part in India's independence struggle so we have the responsibility to realise the dreams of those who helped us attain freedom from British rule.

We are born after 1947 thus, we did not have the honour to take part in the freedom struggle. But, we have the opportunity to fulfil the dreams of the great men and women who devoted their lives for our freedom.
