Cast of 'Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh' excited to be in Lucknow

Lucknow: National Film award winner Naman Jain who plays Ramkishan (young Swami Ramdev) while Tej Sapru who plays Gowardhan Maharaj in Discovery Jeet’s launch show ‘Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh’ visited Lucknow as a part of the promotional tour.

Sangharsh is a scripted biopic series tracing Swami Ramdev’s never seen before, inspirational journey from a life of anonymity to a renowned yoga guru, business leader and national icon.

Speaking on the occasion, Naman Jain, said, “It is an honor to play Swami Ramdev’s childhood in his biopic. There was huge pressure on me as this is a prestigious project.

The task wasn’t easy either as the tenacity of Swami Ramdev’s character had to

permeate in my performance. Further, Swami Ramdev faced multiple challenges as a child. I have given my best and hope the audience will shower their blessings on me.”

Tej Sapru, said, “I really enjoyed being part of this show. It is a dramatic, compelling story of a living legend which has been presented in a cinematic, larger than life format.

I am very confident that the audience will be spell bound when the first show of Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh is played out on February 12 on Discovery Jeet.”
