Patna: In a shocker, the convoy of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was attacked by stone pelters during a 'samiksha yatra' in Nandar village here on Friday.

The Bihar Chief Minister was rescued safely but at least two security personnel have suffered injuries.

As per the sources, Nitish Kumar was in the village to examine the development works done by his government, but the villagers attacked his convoy due to lack of the same in their area.

The villagers wanted the CM to visit the Dalit basti of the village which, reportedly, the security of the CM did not allow.

It apparently irked the villagers as they resorted to stone pelting at Bihar CM's convoy. Nitish Kumar is currently on a statewide trip from December 12 to assess the development projects carried out by his government.
