I'm an unabashed fan of chick flicks: Arjun Kapoor

Mumbai: He has proved to be the best brother his sisters could have had. Arjun Kapoor was as firm as a pillar during the most difficult hours for his family.

Arjun was consoling his step-sisters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor when they were totally devastated during the last rites of their mother Sridevi.

The '2 States' fame, who canceled his shoot of 'Namaste England' to be with his father Boney Kapoor in Dubai and then back in India as they brought back Sridevi's mortal remains.

Boney Kapoor too thanked his children Arjun and Anshula for being there in the most difficult times for Sridevi's daughters and proved to be the responsible siblings, a relationship that never did existed for Arjun. Boney Kapoor posted a tribute to Sridevi and wrote, “I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss.”

It could be recalled that once in an interview, the Gunday actor himself had confessed that he never spent much time with them so there was no relationship between them. Arjun had also said, My relationship with Sridevi is very cordial. I respect anybody in my father’s life the same way because he would expect me to do that. So I respect her and don’t wish ill towards anyone.”

Arjun and Anshula were seen by Janhvi and Khushi’s side at the condolence meet at Celebration Sports Ground. The actor also managed the funeral procession and took care of all the other preparations.

That's so sweet of you Arjun...!
