South African Prez not among the invitees of Ajay Gupta

Saharanpur: South African President Jacob Juma will not be attending the wedding of famous non-resident Indian businessmen Ajay Gupta’s son Kamal Gupta as the invitation has not been extended to him.

“The Gupta family has not invited the President and during that time he will be on an official visit to Iran,” said Baungoni Majola, the official spokesperson of Juma to a news portal Mail and Guardian.

It may be mentioned that all is not well between Ajay Gupta and the South African President Jacob Juma and earlier Ajay Gupta was considered as one of his closest associate.

The government of South Africa has warned the Gupta family to follow the protocol as earlier they had violated it during the marriage of Gupta’s niece which resulted in outrage amongst opposition.
