Oxygen tank leak outside Nashik Hospital; 22 people died

New Delhi: Amid the corona virus crisis, a major accident has taken place in Nashik, Maharashtra. Oxygen tank has leaked at Zakir Hussain Hospital located here. 11 patients have died in the accident.

Oxygen tank leakage:

FDA Minister Rajendra Shingne has given this information. At the same time, the condition of 25 people is critical. It has been reported in the reports that this leakage occurred during the filling of the tanker. Due to leakage, oxygen was spread in the hospital premises.

Shingne said that 11 people died in it. We will investigate this and in the coming days we will work to prevent such an incident. Due to the leakage in the tank, oxygen was spread in the whole area.

Patients suffered:

It is reported that during this time the treatment of 25 patients in the hospital was on ventilator. The condition of many patients remains critical. Apart from this, oxygen was being given to more than 60 patients. Maharashtra is the most affected state in the country due to coronavirus pandemic.

The Maharashtra Health Minister said, 'Due to the leakage of tanker valve leakage in Nashik, there has been a massive leakage of oxygen.' He said, 'It must have had a definite effect in the hospital it was going to, but I have yet to gather more information. We will issue a press note after gathering more information.

The fire official said that at 12.30 am there was a call that oxygen was leaking from the tank. We reached the spot and found that the valve of the oxygen tank was open from where the oxygen was leaking. Oxygen was being filled in the oxygen tank with a tanker. He gave the information 'We have closed the valve which was open, but a lot of oxygen has leaked'.
