Lucknow : The 4-day International Festival of History and Civics, 'Reflections 2021' organised online by City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus came to a close here today. The online Closing Ceremony of 'Reflections 2021' saw mesmerizing educational-cultural events presented by CMS students which enthralled everyone in the audience. Prizes were distributed virtually to the winning participants from India and abroad. The programme began with the CMS students paying obeisance to the almighty through all-religion prayer and world unity prayer. The four-day long 'Reflections 2021' saw the participation of student teams from Mauritius, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and different parts of India who enthusiastically participated in interesting competitions displaying academic prowess while also giving the message of unity and brotherhood.


At the closing cum prize distribution ceremony, Vaibhavi Singh of host school, CMS Mahanagar Campus and Bidusee Sharma of Galaxy Public School, Kathmandu Nepal were jointly awarded the first prize of Symposium competition of junior category whereas Dhruv Singhal of Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad and Chetaniya Tamta of Bosco Public School, New Delhi jointly won the first prize of Debate competition of Senior category. The first prize of Quiz competition went to St. Gregory's High School & College, Dhaka, Bangladesh; Nikita Tiwari of Ryan International School, Shahjahanpur and Shoukrit Dey of Navrachana Higher Secondary School, Vadodara, Gujrat won the first prize of Group Discussion (Legends Resurrect) event; the first prize of Flash Drama competiton jointly went to Bosco Public School, New Delhi and Nalanda International School Vadodara, Gujarat; the first prize of Ad-Lib (Extempore) competition was jointly won by Samaira Parveen of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I and Samdisha of Pratap Public School, Karnal, Haryana while the first prize of Project on Community Services competition was jointly won by BCM Arya Model Sr. Sec. School and Delhi Public School, Gurgaon.


On this occasion ,CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon motivated the the participating students from India and abroad to serve the global society as world citizens. She further said that this international festival has successfully piqued an interest among the youth, inspiring them to work for the betterment of humanity. Convenor of 'Reflections 2021' and Principal of CMS Mahanagar campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi thanked the participating students and their teachers from India and abroad and said that we have to work towards developing a new sustainable world society by sowing the seeds of world unity and world peace through education.
