Debate competition 'Talking Titans' organized for University students at Kalam Centre

King George's Medical University , Lucknow, is a name that needs no introduction. From academic standpoint the university bestows it's students with the best learning, mentorship and practical experience in the country

It also takes into consideration the overall presentation and character buildup of the students. The Student's Council, under the mentorship of Dean Student Welfare , Dr. R.N. Srivastava has organized a Debate Competition "TALKING TITANS" at Kalam Centre on 4th of September 2021.

Dr. R.N. Srivastava has been a constant support and guide throughout the preparation of the event. He has been the source of inspiration for the students to be a part of different activities held in the university to enhance the overall personality of the medical students.


Dr. BipinPuri , the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of KGMU has graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Lt. Gen. Dr. BipinPuri in his speech, explained the students the importance of optimization of social media in our life. He also shared his experiences in the Armed Forces with the audience which was quite motivating for them


The competition was hosted by Dr. Ramesh Bharti Assistant Dean student Welfare and Shah HemilPankaj and RashiShukla were the cohosts to engage the audience throughout the event.


Dr. Ramesh Bharti emphasized on the importance of extra curricular activities.

The debate competition had twelve participants, two from each of the six deaneries.

The First prize was backed up by – Dr. DevishaAgarwal, JR 3 , Department of E.N.T.

The Second prize was won by – Monika Chaudhary, BDS 2nd year student


The Third Prize winner is – Ananyaa Pandey, Paramedical 2nd year student.
