Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government increased the Member of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development (MLALAD) fund from Rs. 1.5 crore to 2 crores for state MLAs.

The decision was taken by Uttar Pradesh Cabinet during a meeting.

The Cabinet further approved the Transfer Policy 2018-19 for four years, under which, 20 percent transfer will be possible and the session for the same will be held between April 1 and May 31.

It may be mentioned that, the cabinet also approved Rs 23 crore to provide clean drinking water in 10 states.

Further, the cabinet also decided to tender a project of 170 mobile medical units.
