When is Holi 2024:
The festival of Holi is celebrated on the day of Phalgun Purnima. This year, Phalgun Purnima is starting on March 24 at 9.54 am and this date is ending on March 25 at 12.29 pm. Therefore Holika Dahan will take place on Sunday 24th March. Dhulandi will be celebrated on 25th March.
Auspicious yoga on Holi, auspicious time for Holika Dahan:
Two auspicious combinations are being formed on Holi. Vriddhi Yoga is till 9.30 pm, while Dhruva Yoga timings are throughout the day on March 24. The time of Holika Dahan is from 11.13 pm to 12.07 pm.

According to the Panchang, Holika Dahan is under the influence of Bhadra. Bhadra is also being celebrated on the same day as Holika Dahan on 24th March. On this day, Bhadra is observed from 09.54 am in the morning till 11.13 pm. On this day, the time of tail of Bhadra is from 06:33 pm to 07:53 pm, the time of mouth of Bhadra is from 07:53 pm to 10:06 pm.
According to the Panchang, on the day of Holika Dahan, Bhadra's residence on the earth is from 09:54 am to 02:20 pm, only Bhadra of the earth is considered effective for us. Therefore, do not do any work at this time, the underworld Bhadra resides from 02:20 pm to 11:13 pm.
