Real friends are really rare. They are there for you all the time and never leave your side. They are your support system, who make the world a better place and the life worth living! They are your guide, your confidant and “your” people.

But sometimes, you may encounter people who are simply using you and not worth investing in. They are the ones who only pretend to be your friend and are hardly ever there for you.

Here 5 ways to know the difference

True friends are never too busy for you. They will make it a point to take out time for you from their busy day and will be there for you when you need them, whereas fake friends will always be making excuses and will leave you alone when you need them the most.

True friends make you feel happy and loved. They will cheer you up in bad times and celebrate your achievements. Fake friends will make you feel alone and miserable. They will only knock on your door only when they need you.

Whenever you will achieve success, true friends will be happy for you and proud of your accomplishment. Fake friends, on the other hand, will be jealous and snarky about it.

True friends will accept your flaws and imperfections and will love you for them, whereas fake friends will criticise your flaws and will try to change you.
