Relationships are common today where two people promise to live together forever. Some people believe that there is no such thing as true love. They also give many arguments regarding this. On the other hand, some people believe that true love exists and lasts a lifetime.

If you have a partner too then definitely you thought about your love at a point that how true is my love?

Here are ten questions that you should ask yourself which are like litmus paper tests to check the truth of your love.

  • How many dreams of my partner are included in the picture of my future?

This is the most important question. Most relationships disintegrate due to a little foolishness.

Many times one partner entire designs of life that where will they live, how many children will they have, what kind of life will they live, and much more? Then they would like their partner to also take care of their feelings, dreams, and needs. But in this, they forget about their partner's dreams that what they want. So you should ask yourself that whether your partner's dreams are also included in your list or not.

  • Can I change my lifestyle for my partner?

There is a lot of difference between a single life and a relationship life. When you are in a relationship, you are not alone in any of your decisions. This also includes your partner. When you are single, you do not have to include anyone in your decisions. However, this does not mean that you change your personality, values, beliefs, or standards. Understanding all this, if your answer is yes then you are very serious about your relationship.

  • Do I feel all my partner's emotions?

In a healthy relationship, two people treat each other's experiences, feelings, and emotions as if they were their own.

This gives a new meaning to life. As much as you are a partner in your partner's happiness, you are also a partner in his/her sorrow. So if you feel your partner's emotions then you are serious about it.

  • Are you accepting your partner's shortcomings along with their good qualities?

No one can be just good. Along with the good things, there will also be some shortcomings. If you are also accepting the negative side of your partner, then you are serious about your love.

  • Is there a sense of trust and respect on both sides?

These two points often go together because you cannot trust someone you do not respect. The same applies to vice versa. If you respect them and trust them then your relationship is serious.

  • Are you happy with yourself even after living with your partner?

How your relationship is going isn't just determined by how you feel about your partner. It is also important to know how you feel about yourself when you are with them.

  • Can you share everything with your partner?

Your relationship is best if you can share everything with your loved ones.

  • Do you feel safe with your partner?

In any relationship, it is important that you feel safe with your partner. Not only physically, but also emotionally.

  • Do you feel peace and relaxation in the relationship?

Everyone talks about chemistry in a relationship. But the truth is that the time you spend being intimate with your partner is a very small part of the entire day. The point should be whether we feel at peace and relaxed when we are with the person we have chosen. If you are feeling uncomfortable when you are with your partner, then you need to think seriously about your relationship.

  • Is your intimacy also emotional?

Physical intimacy is very important in a relationship. But even more important is emotional intimacy. Because physical relationship happens only in a very small part of the day. True intimacy is more emotional than physical. It thrives only when there is a deep connection with someone. In its presence your relationship becomes like a banyan tree, which remains green and alive for years.
