Centurion: Indian captain Virat Kohli is undoubtedly the greatest batsman of the current era and he keeps proving the fact every now and then. Once again, he has authenticated the tag of 'run-machine' by smashing his 35th ODI hundred in the sixth match against South Africa at the SuperSport Park here on Friday.

He only took 82 balls to smash the fourth century on the South Africa tour and third in the six-match One-Day International (ODI) series.

Kohli scored 17 boundaries and reached to his hundred with a cracking four straight down the ground off the bowling of Imran Tahir.

With this landmark hundred in a low-scoring game where India needs to chase only 205 runs, Kohli has become the highest run-scorer in a six-match ODI series across the world. He has so far aggregated a 532 runs at a staggering average of 177.33.

Earlier in the series, Kohli had the scores of 112, 46*, 160*, 75, 36 in the previous five matches.

He has also become the biggest contributor in India's historic ODI series win in South Africa. India is soon expected to get over the line as only 27 runs are required ion 20 overs to seal the series 5-1.
