SA vs IND 2nd ODI: Chahal's five-for bundles up South Africa for 118

Centurion: Indian wrist-spinners, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, bundled up Faf du Plessis-less South Africa for mere 118 runs in 32.2 overs in the second One Day International (ODI) at the SuperSport Park here on Sunday.

Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up his first five-wicket haul. He gave 22 runs in 8.2 overs and also bowled a maiden.

Kuldeep Yadav was also once again impressive as he bagged 3 wickets for 20 runs in his six overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah managed one scalp each in their five overs each.

JP Duminy and Khaya Zondo were the highest run-scorers for South Africa as they socred 25 runs each. Duminy took 39 balls and scored 2 boundaries, whiel Zondo played 45 deliveries and smashed two fours.

Openers Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla added 39 runs for the first wicket before the latter departed at the individual score of 23 runs off 32 balls with four fours. De Kock also could not go long enough and went back after adding 20 runs to the total.

Stand-in skipper Aiden Markram also failed to do much and was dismissed for mere 8 runs. David Miller went back without opening his account.

Chris Morris, however, scored 14 runs off 10 deliveries with the help of a six and a four. Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel managed to add one run each, while Imran Tahir failed to open his account. Tabraiz Shamsi remained unbeaten at 0.

An in-form Indian team is expected to chase down the small 119-run target like a cakewalk.
