Rainy season will not be a problem

As Monsoon has already hit the Kerala coast and likely to move to the other parts of the country in the days to come, people are waiting for the rain to get relief from the scorching heat. While the rains are mostly welcome as they are good for the crops a few however, feel that the rainy season spell troubles rather than provide relief. You can enjoy the rainy season if you make some preparations beforehand.

Here are some preparations which should be done before the rainy season-

Start with the garden:
Gardens look beautiful with full of flowers. If they don’t take care properly then the chances of rotting of plants and flowers increase. To avoid this problem you can use these tips:

• Mix Cocopeat with the manure of soil before plant a tree. With this water will not accumulate in the pots.
• Don’t give too much water in the plants only give when it is required.
• Tie stick with lightly plants to prevent them from thunderstorms.

Inside the house:

• Put a show rack in the corridor. This will help you to keep your house clean.
• Remove carpets from rooms and hall. If they wet in the rain then it starts foul smell.
• Put vax on wooden windows and gates. It prevents from rain.
• Do deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Fill condiments in containers to prevent from rain moisture.
• Check your all electricity wire to make sure that all are good.
• Put silica sachets near the home theater or plasma TV.
• Put a rubber door mate at the entry door.
