Vishesh Pujan:

Special worship of Lord Shri Krishna on the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami brings happiness and prosperity. To do special worship of Janmashtami, worship the idol of God present in the house by wearing yellow clothes and with incense-lamp.

Offer flowers to God, apply sandalwood. Lord Krishna has a special liking for milk-curd, butter, in such a situation, make Prasadam of it and offer it to God and give the same prasadam to everyone. Panjiri is always Lord Kanha's favorite.

Panjiri Recipe:

In general, there are two types of Panjiri, one is Dhaniya Panjiri and the other – Nariyal (Coconut) Panjiri. To make dhaniya panjiri, roast whole dhania (coriander) with ghee thoroughly. Now fry the flour in the same way with ghee. After roasting both, add coriander to the flour. Add dry fruits, sugar candy, butter and powdered sugar to it. In this way the coriander panjiri will be ready.

Similarly, by adding coconut to the panjiri, you can also make coconut panjiri.

White Butter:

You have to collect the cream used in milk at home and take out the cream before making butter. Separate the butter and buttermilk with the help of a wooden Madani or food processor, after which your butter is ready and you can offer it to Lord Krishna.

Makhan Mishri for Bhog:

Mix curd, water, mishri(sugar), Pishtachio and use Blender to mix it well.

First of all, you have to put curd in a vessel and keep whisking it with the help of churn or blender. Keep aside the butter that comes out during whipping and during this time, keep adding water little by little to the curd.

When sufficient amount of butter is released from the curd, then stop and add sugar candy and pistachios to the extracted butter and mix it and now your Makhan Mishri is completely ready, you can offer it to Kanha.

Newstrack Family wishes you a prosperous and Happy Janmashtami.
