New Delhi: Where Delhi Daredevils (DD) will look to enter the ground as a rejuvenated side under the young leadership of Shreyas Iyer, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has a strong chance of strengthening its position at 4th slot in Indian Premier League (IPL 2018) points table when the two teams meet at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground here on Friday evening.

DD seems to have paid the price for relying too much on youngsters in the IPL 2018 Auctions as they have won only one out to a total of six matches played so far and is right at the bottom of the points table in the razzmatazz tournament.

After a disappointing 4-run defeat at the hands of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Gautam Gambhir stepped down as the skipper of the side adding to the woes of the franchise which was already suffering from a very bad form.

KKR on the other hand has been playing considerably well under the leadership of Dinesh Karthik. The young lot of players picked right from the Under-19 squad is performing well along with players like Andre Russell and Sunil Narine.

KKR has won 3 and lost 3 in the six matches so far and is standing at the 4th position in the points table with a positive net run rate.
