Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers on Friday put a spirited show at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium here, bundling out Kings XI Punjab at 155. It was R Ashwin's cameo which pushed Punjab to a decent total.

Umesh Yadav was the wrecker-in-chief for RCB, claiming three crucial wickets in a single over. Young talent Washington Sundar assisted him with terrific 2/22 bowling figures.

Apart from dangerous KL Rahul (47), Ravichandran Ashwin was handy with the bat as played a crucial 21-ball 33-run knock with three fours and a six/

Rahul, who once again started his inning on a fiery note, ended at 47. His 20-ball inning was laced with two fours and four sixes.

After being put to bat, Punjab lost its first in Mayank Agarwal (15) who was followed by Aaron Finch (0) and Yuvraj Singh (4) in the same over.

Karun Nair, however, shown some hands and shared 58-runs stand with Rahul before latter was dismissed at 47.

The wickets of Nair (29), Stoinis (11) and Axar (2) also fell cheaply. R Ashwin was the beauty with the bat for Punjab as played a vital role in pushing side to a competitive total.
