Ingredients:
1 cup khoya (mawa)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, and pistachios)
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
Mix the all-purpose flour and ghee to form a crumbly texture.
Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Make the Filling:
Heat khoya in a pan until it turns light brown.
Add powdered sugar, chopped nuts, and cardamom powder. Mix well and let it cool.
Shape the Gujiyas:
Roll out small portions of the dough into circles.
