It's good to be awaken but it's equally important to sleep and in this era of technology sleep is turning out to be one of the most sought after thing.

In fact so scarce has 'sleep' become today that it has come to be associated with even divorce among the working couples.

The doctors say that 8 hours sleep is required for a healthy body but it is becoming a big challenge for everyone especially for the couples. They have to complete their office duty, have to play with children and take care of the elders. In these circumstances they are unable to give time to themselves.

In such a situation the couples experience what we call ‘Sleep Divorce’ which is a condition there the couples do not sleep on the same bed but sleep in different places in their house. ‘Sleep divorce’ does not mean separation of husband and wife but they simply choose different rooms to have sound sleep without being disturbed.

What is Sleep Divorce?

When couples sleep in different rooms, different beds, or at different times for better and quality sleep, it is called sleep divorce. It can be long term or short term as per the situation. Last year a Wakefit Company, sleep solution released Great Indian Sleep Scoreboard. According to it, more than 55% people in India go to sleep after 11 pm and Wake up without completing 8 hours of sleep. Another Health technology company Philips India’s 2019 data shows that 93% Indians don’t take proper sleep.
