Hair Care Tips: Must try these 5 hair masks prepared with coconut oil

New Delhi: One of the common hair problems that most of us struggle with is hair fall. The reasons for this can be many such as pollution or stress etc.

Hair Mask with coconut oil:

There are many chemical based products available in the market for this, but their effect lasts only for a short time. In such a situation, you can also try some home remedies. You can try a hair mask made from coconut oil.

Lemon and Coconut:

Lemon is rich in vitamin C which helps in the production of collagen. Collagen helps in hair growth. The antifungal properties of lemon work to keep the scalp clean and open the pores. To make this mask, mix one tablespoon coconut oil and one tablespoon lemon juice in a bowl. Apply this mixture on dry hair and leave it for 15 minutes. Then wash your hair with your regular shampoo.

Honey and coconut oil:

Honey helps to retain moisture and add shine to our hair. For this, mix 1 tablespoon warm coconut oil and 1 tablespoon natural honey in a bowl. Mix well till a mixture is formed. Apply this hair mask on your scalp as well as the length of your hair and leave it on for about 20 minutes. After that wash off with lukewarm water.

Coconut oil and Banana:

Another easy way to make a hair mask is with coconut and banana. Bananas make our hair soft and prevent split ends from breaking. Put half a banana and 1 tbsp coconut oil in a blender and mix well. When a smooth paste is formed, take it out in a bowl and massage your scalp with it. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off with shampoo.
