Yet another rise in petroleum product prices in India

New Delhi: Immediately after the celebration of Gross Domestic Production (GDP) rising to 7.9 per cent, comes a dampener for the common man as the Centre effected yet another increase in the prices of Petrol and Diesel from Thursday.

The price of diesel was increased by Rs 1.25 while the price of petrol was increased by just Rs five paisa , official sources said.

The price rise in diesel is going to badly effect the wallet of consumers and its price have been increased five times since April 4. This may give rise to overall inflation in the country.
