Shave your beard or face abetment of suicide charge
Meerut: Wife of an Imam here has made an uncommon demand save your beard and look like film actors Salman and Shah Rukh Khan. She has even threatened to commit suicide if her demand is not met.
Badly shaken Maulana who is aged 36 has written a letter to the district magistrate to intervene and prevent her from taking the extreme step. The letter was released to media persons on Monday.His predicament is that he an Imam and that his religion does not allow him to go for shaving.
In his letter he has told the DM that he has been making this demand since her marriage but now she appears to be more serious and may carry her threat. He is still awaiting a reply.
