Meerut: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an election rally in Meerut on Saturday, his first for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. He is set to kick-start his election campaign seven-days before state will vote to choose their next government.

In order to woo the voters, Prime Minister of India will hold 12 rallies in the poll-bound state.

The Meerut rally will take place in Shatabdi Nagarground. Party workers have put their best in order to get scores of people for the rally. Security has been beefed-up.

It could be mentioned here that Uttar Pradesh will witness seven-phase election in 403 assembly seats between February 11 and March 8.
