UP CM increases the amount of ex-gratia to deceased cops

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday increased the amount of ex-gratia given to the cops killed in Jawaharbagh violence of Mathura to Rs 50 lakhs each from Rs 20 lakh.

Akhilesh Yadav , on Saturday, announced this in Bundelkhand, to share this information and has also promised to give a government job to one of the family member.

The Uttar Pradesh government drew a lot of flak for giving the compensation of Rs 20 lakh, earlier.

People on social media trolled Akhilesh for the same reason and compared it to the solatium given to slain NIA officer Zia-ul-Haq.
