Three killed in bomb blast on Eid in Bangladesh

Dhaka: Three people including a terrorist were reportedly killed in a bomb blast that occurred in Kishoreganj area of Bangladesh.

The bomb blast took place near Bangladesh’s largest Eid congregation. One attacker was killed while one was captured alive, reported local media.

Several others were injured in the blast.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina condemns the terror attack on the occasion of Eid, saying terrorism is against Islam and humanity.

India will send a team of National Security Guards (NSG) officials to assist Bangladesh.

The incident has happened just a few days after six armed men entered a cafe in Dhaka and killed 20 people including an Indian national Tarishi Jain.
