Stampede at Ayodhya's Kanak Bhavan temple kills a woman, two injured

Ayodhya: One woman died and two others were injured in a stampede near at Kanak Bhavan Temple near Tulsi Udyan in Ayodhya on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place when thousands of devotees where on there way to the Ram temple, after a holy dip in Sarayu river, to offer prayers on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.

According to the eye witnesses, it was a stampede like situation but the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anant Deo said that the woman died of high BP and there was no stampede.
