SP’s own team finds goondaism prevailing in Western UP
Shamli: The five-member team of saints backed by the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP), which was sent to Kairana of Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh for reality check about the much-publicised migration of Hindu families, ruled out any ‘communal angle’ in the issue but admitted the ‘goondaism’ as the reason behind it.
“There is no ‘communal force’ behind the migration of Hindu families from Kairana and Kandhla but, the families have migrated due to ‘goondaism’ and we will present our report over this issue on June 23 next,” said the team. The report, in a way, has vindicated the claim of BJP to certain extent because it was also being alleged that the anti-social elements have been making life of others difficult which precisely been admiited by the team.
The team, comprised of Swami Kalyan Deo Maharaj, Acharya Pramod Krishnan, Chakrapadi Ji Maharaj, Devanand Giri and Swami Chinmayanad, was sent to the affected area on the initiative of senior SP leader and Uttar Pradesh Irrigation minister Shivpal Singh Yadav.
They will present their report to UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav as well as Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath ingh and President Pranab Mukherjee.
