Mathura: The newly appointed Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday said that BSP and SP are the barriers in development of the state.

“Uttar Pradesh will progress only when Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will be uprooted from the state,” said Maurya.

He was speaking after paying obeisance at the Banke Bihari temple.

What else he said:

  • Development of the state is not possible without ousting SP and BSP.
  • These parties are doing the politics of nepotism and dividing society on caste lines.
  • BJP will contest the elections on the agenda of development and nationalism.
