Schools and Colleges in Hyderabad will be closed till Saturday
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has ordered closure of all the schools and colleges till Saturday next due to heavy downpour since Thursday.
The order covers areas that come under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation .
According to Indian Meterological Department (Met Department) these areas will receive heavy rains during next two days too.
On Friday morning 96.5 mm, 88.25 mm, 86.5 mm and 84.25 mm of rain was recorded in the area of Malkajgiri, Maredpally, Himayathnagar and Amberpet respectively.
- Notice has been sent to employees of the IT companies by the Government of Hyderabad to complete their work from home till September 25.
- Many old buildings were washed away and people from effected areas were evacuated by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
