Ram Nath Kovind meets UP CM to seek support of MP, MLAs

Lucknow: In order to seek support from the ruling MPs and legislators of UP in presidential election, NDA’s presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind reached Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath residence at 5, Kalidas Marg here on Sunday.

UP CM welcomed the aspiring President with a bouquet.

Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti also marked their presence here.

Senior BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari and Bhupendra Yadav are travelling along with Kovind during his Lucknow-leg of the tour.

The presidential election is scheduled for July 17 and the counting of votes will take place on July 20.
