New Delhi: Making a statement in parliament on his visit to Pakistan the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said if he had to describe that country's actions in one line in Hindi he would say ‘Ye Padosi Hai Ki Maanta Nahi’.

Rajnath who had gone there to attend South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation ( SAARC) meeting was happy to note that the entire House was united against Pak describing Wani as martyr and protest staged by a group of people of that country against India.

“Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism but still the neighbouring nation is not taking any stern action against it. I have spoken there about rising terrorism, cyber crime and trafficking,” Singh told the House.

“Pakistan itself is the biggest violator of human rights. Besides, it does not have any right to speak on the internal matgters of India. I regret that reporters of Doordarshan and other news agencies were not allowed to cover the event in Pakistan,” Singh added.

Singh was applauded by all the members present including those of the opposition including Gulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma of the Congress.

It may be mentioned that Singh was blacked out by the Pakistani media on Thursday for lambasting Pakistan on the issue of terrorism while addressing the SAARC .meeting. He had not joined the official lunch and returned to India which is being seen as a mark of protest against some recent Pak actions.
