People will teach BJP a lesson during UP Assembly Polls: Mulayam
Meerut: Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday reiterated that demonetisation move was taken in haste by the Centre and people in Uttar Pradesh will give BJP a befitting reply in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
Singh said that the ruling BJP government at the Centre should have called an all-party meet ahead of taking a call on a decesion as big as 'demonetisation'.
Singh was speaking to the media persons after attending marriage ceremony of daughter of State Minister Mohammad Abbas here on Wednesday.

- Centre's move of scrapping Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currency notes has put poor people in trouble.
