Pankhuri Pathak gets rape threat, questions UP CM on Twitter

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party spokesperson Pankhuri Pathak on Saturday received rape threat on her social media account by a man, employed with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation.

After receiving the threat, Pankhuri, in a tweet, questioned UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Power Minister Shrikant Sharma, Chief Secretary and UP Police for not taking any action over the same.

Pankhuri, on his Twitter handle, alleged a man named Pankaj Shukla of saying, "you should be raped, how you escaped so far."

Pankhuri Pathak said that she complained about the same to police and several senior officers including UP Power Minister but no action has been taken yet,.

Pankhuri also informed on Twitter that she has filed a complaint with Delhi Police against UPPCL employee Pankaj Shukla.
