Islamabad: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s speech was ‘blacked out’ as Pakistan did not allow its media to cover his address at the 19th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in the national capital on Thursday.

It may be mentioned that the Home Minister arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday last to attend the two-day SAARC conference.

“Any country should not glorify terrorism or portray terrorists as Martyrs. In fact, a terrorist can never be a man with ‘good character’. I think the sternest action should be taken against nations backing terror outfits,” said Rajnath Singh while addressing the summit.

According to official sources, Home Ministers of both the nations – Singh and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan – did not attend the lunch at the SAARC meet.
