Lucknow: Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was likely to announce a new party to be formed by him and his supporters along with Ajit Singh’s Lok Dal, has, however, waived off any such speculations as of now.

The SP patron has refused to form any new party. “Not forming a new party as of now,” he said.

Mulayam Singh Yadav statements, at the addressal during the press conference on Monday, indicated that there is still room left for working out together and find solutions of the disputes. "My blessings are with Akhilesh, but I don't agree with him," said the Party patron.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, rumours were rife that Mulayam would announce a new party along with Ajit Singh's Lok Dal. It was also reported that the new outfit may retain the 'samajwadi' tag in its name.

Recalling, Mulayam and his brother Shivpal Yadav were not present in the state convention of the party, a question was asked from the SP leader to which he replied that the party which they had founded 25 years ago didn't send any invitation to them.

Attacks UP government:

The SP leader did also utilise the occasion to attack the Yogi Adityanath led current Uttar Pradesh government over law and order situation in the state.

Attacking the CM over the Banaras Hindu University violence, Netaji said, "Today girls are not safe inside the world famous BHU campus. This shows the deteriorating condition of law and order situation in the state.

"None of the promises made by the govt were fulfilled in 3 yrs of its governance. Petrol-diesel prices skyrocketed," he further said.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav too lauded the decision of his father through his twitter handle where he posted a 'zindabad' slogan for MSY and SP.
