Every Indian youth is my kid, said once Rajnarayan

Lucknow: Rajnarayan, the most unlikely hero the country had witnessed, the person to successfully challenge the election of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from Rae Bareli, had once famously said ‘every Indian youth is my kid’.

Recalling how his father failed to recollect his name when he went to meet him in Hisar jail of Haryana, instead said ‘every Indian youth is my kid’, Om Prakash, son of Rajnarayan told newztrack.com. Going down the memory lane on ’Emergency Day’ i.e June 25^th , Om Prakash said his faded memory reminds him of how his father was arrested along with many other senior politicians and stuffed into jail.

Om Prakash Singh, the son of this great leader, reminiscenced his father had failed to identify him when he went to Hisar jail before the emergency was clamped in India. He said even the jail officials did not to meet me to my father suspecting I am not his real son as neta ji could not tell my name.

I am not Indira:

“I am not Indira Gandhi who just knows the name of her sons Sanjay and Rajiv. Every Indian youth is my kid and it is not at all possible for me to remember the names of crores of my kid,” was the famous quote of Rajnarayan.

Om Prakash was allowed to meet to talk to his father after one month of the investigation carried out by the officials to confirm his credentials as son of Rajnarayan.
