Encephalitis is a challenge needed to be faced together, says CM Yogi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described the Gorakhpur tragedy as the most unfortunate one. "Encephalitis is a challenge," stated the UP CM further saying that this epidemic has been taking toll on the lives of kids in Gorakhpur since 1978.

"The major cause of its spreading widely is the lack of cleanliness and sanitation in most of the areas of the city," the CM said.

Seeking support from the UPiites, Yogi said that he is confident of eradicating this problem from the state. "It is challenge that has to be faced by everyone and I am sure that we together will fight this evil successfully," said Yogi.

After continuous attacks by the opposition, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has finally spoken about the deaths of children in BRD Medical College. He chose to express his concern about the problem while addressing a gathering at 'Ganga Gram Sammelan'.

CM Yogi Adityanath also said that he has spoken to Union Health Minister JP Nadda and told him that all the aspects of deaths at BRD Medical college are being examined.

The UP CM has assured a prompt action in the case.
