Do I send males to click selfie with your sister: Chandrakala

Lucknow: The issue related to selfie with Bulandshehr District Magistrate in Uttar Pradesh has assumed another proposition when an audio clip doing rounds on social media has the lady DM B Chandrakala speaking to a newspaper reporter using rather pedestrian language.

What looked like a call from the reporter asking to give her version on the arrest of a youth who clicked his selfie with the DM without her permission. Mere mention of the selfie infuriated the DM to such extent that she almost crossed threshold of decency.

What DM said in the clip:

• Should I send unknown males to click selfie with your sister and mother.
• How could he had selfie with me while I was on work.
• How dare you question me on this issue?
• Don’t you have females at home?

What was the issue:

• On February one, a youth Faraz clicked selfie with the DM Chandrakala.
• She got it deleted, rightly so.
• Faraz and his family members protested which resulted in his arrest.
• Later, DM accpted apology from his family members on his behalf
