Delhi court rejects AAP leader Dinesh Mohaniya’s bail plea

New Delhi: Aam Admi Party (AAP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Dinesh Mohaniya, who was arrested in an alleged molestation case, was on Monday sent to judicial custody for two weeks by a Delhi court, which rejected his bail plea.

“The circumstances have apparently not changed in the last two days to interfere with the duty magistrate’s order. Hence, the second bail application of the accused has also been dismissed,” said Metropolitan Magistrate Bhavna Kalia.

Other highlights:

• Mohaniya was booked on Thursday last for allegedly misbehaving with a group of women.
• Those women reached him with a complaint of water crisis in their locality.
• A complaint was lodged against him at Sarai Police Station in South Delhi.
