Bulandshahr: In a breakthrough in sensational mother daughter gang-rape case in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have made first arrests on Monday by nabbing three of the five main accused.

Three accused namely Raees, Tabez and Jabar Singh were produced in the fast track court on Monday afternoon and were sent to judicial custody for 14 days. These were among 15 suspects detained by the police for interrogation.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister AKhilesh Yadav had made direct intervention in this horrific case and had given 24 hour ultimatum to the state police to arrest the culprits. Meanwhile, he had ordered suspension of seven policemen including the district police chief Vaibhav Krishna, one deputy SP, SHO and constables.

Woman, daughter gangraped by five men in Bulandshahr

Sensing sensitivity of the crime, the Principal Secretary, Home Debashish Panda and Director General Of Police (DGP) Javeed Ahmad had air dashed to the spot on Sunday evening and were monitoring the situation personally.

The Director General of Police (DGP) told Newztrack.com,’that the search for other accused was on and several agencies were involved in the investigation’.
