Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shiv Pratap Singh on Thursday has given an application to register an FIR after he received a life threat on the name of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui and supremo Mayawati.

Application has been given in the Hazratganj police station of Lucknow.

Gazipur resident Shiv Pratap Singh, who is a supporter of BJP expelled leader Dayashankar, has remained active in the party’s counter-protests against BSP.

What Shiv Pratap wrote in the application?

  • On July 27, I received a call from +36910060 at 7:26 pm anf the caller threatened to behead me.

  • The caller said that he has been paid to kill me as I am actively involved in the protests against Mayawati and Naseemuddin and favouring Dayashankar on various platforms.
  • He terrorised me and said to kill me within seven days after which abuses started from both the sides.

Shiv Pratap has been aligned with BJP’s student association and Yuva Morcha from last 12 years.
