Annoyed with Amar's return to party, Azam skips cabinet meeting

Lucknow: Despite Samajwadi Party’s repeated claims about Azam Khan having no issues with Amar Singh returning to the party, the things are far from being normal between Azam and Samajwadi leaders.

The annoyed leader has flown abroad to avoid the Uttar Pradesh government’s Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Reason for Azam’s sudden tour:

• According to the sources close to the leader, Azam and Amar share a soured relations and Amar Singh’s decision to rejoin the party has upset the SP leader.
• It may be mentioned that, Azam was the reason for Amar’s exit from the party few years ago.
• Azam had earlier mentioned that, Amar Singh was of no value to the party.
• The Samajwadi Leader als passed a sarcastic comment on Mulayam Singh Yadav after the SP chief gave the party ticket to Amar Singh. He had said Mulayam being Head of the party cannot be questioned for his decisions.

Azam’s absence will hinder many cabinet decisions related to his ministry of Urban Development.
