According to the bulletin issued by IMD, there will be dense to very dense cloud cover in most areas of many states including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan on Tuesday.

The plains and states of eastern India are in the grip of severe cold due to snowfall in the mountains last week. There is lukewarm sunshine during the day but there is no respite from the melting cold at night and in the morning. Along with this, many states including Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, UP, Bihar are also facing dense fog. Amidst all this, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding dense fog and cold in Delhi-NCR. Let us tell you that on Monday the mercury reached near 1 degree in Fatehpur, Rajasthan.

According to the bulletin issued by IMD, there will be dense to very dense dark shade in most areas of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. People living in these states are not expected to get relief for the next 5 days. For the last few days, it has been extremely cold in the hilly states as well as in the plains of North India. At the same time, according to meteorologists, people of these states will have to face severe cold and cold wave throughout the week.

Scientists of the Meteorological Department have issued a yellow alert in view of the severe cold in many states including Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in Delhi-NCR in the next 24 hours. Winter has wreaked havoc on the people in Sriganganagar of the state. Sri Ganganagar is still wrapped in a blanket of dense fog. Drivers are facing a lot of trouble due to dense fog. The Meteorological Department has given a yellow alert of dense fog and cold day there today. The minimum temperature there on Monday was 5 degrees. The mercury was also 3.6 degrees in Pilani and 3.7 degrees in Churu.

Winter is giving intermittent shocks in Rajasthan. At present the weather remains dry in Rajasthan. Many areas in the state are still in the grip of extreme cold wave. Cold winds again chilled people in Jaipur on Monday night. According to the Meteorological Department, the coldest city on Monday was Fatehpur in Sikar district. The temperature there has been recorded at 1.6 degrees. After that Alwar also remained no less cold. The temperature there has been recorded at 2.8 degrees.
