The Japanese company first showcased these bikes at the Madras International Circuit, followed by their debut at India MotoGP. Now, details about the launch date of these two bikes have been revealed. According to the information, Yamaha is gearing up to launch its R3 and MT-03 bikes in India on December 15. The company will also disclose the delivery date of these bikes at the launch event. It is expected that in the last few weeks of 2023, i.e., in December, the company may commence the delivery of its latest bikes to its customers. Yamaha R3 and MT-03 Bike Features

Speaking of the features of Yamaha R3 and MT-03 motorcycles, both bikes are equipped with dual LED headlamps, LED indicators, LCD instrument cluster with LED tail lamp, and other attractive features. These bikes appear similar in look to their bigger super sport and naked streetfighter models. Both bikes include KYB upside-down front forks with travel and a rear monoshock unit for suspension. For braking, both front and rear have disc brakes with dual-channel ABS for safety features. Additionally, these two-wheelers are expected to come with several connected features.

Yamaha R3 and MT-03 Bike Powertrain

Talking about the powertrain in Yamaha R3 and MT-03 bikes, these bikes will feature a 321cc, twin-cylinder engine that delivers 42ps of power. The upcoming R3 model has the capacity to provide 29.5Nm torque, while the other model, MT-03, can provide 29.6Nm torque. The engine in these bikes is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

Speaking of the prices of these upcoming bikes from Yamaha, it is expected that the prices will be slightly higher than 3.1 lakhs INR ex-showroom. Meanwhile, talking about the price of the Yamaha MT-03 bike, it will be available at a rate of 20,000 INR less.
