Weather Whirl: Rain Alerts and Chilling Temperatures Sweep Across India

New Delhi: The mood of the weather is beginning to shift in many states across the country. Clouds have covered several regions, and there has been a drop in temperatures. Due to the temperature drop, a noticeable chill is being felt during the morning and evening hours. The alert issued by the Meteorological Department for rain has heightened concerns among the public. The weather department has forecasted the possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR today. Due to rain, a decrease of up to two degrees Celsius in temperature can be recorded.

Apart from Delhi, alerts for heavy rain have been issued in Gujarat, Southeast Rajasthan, Southwest Madhya Pradesh, Northern Konkan, Northern Central Maharashtra, and Marathwada. The weather department has also issued a warning for hailstorms accompanied by thunderstorms. In Uttarakhand, warnings for rain and snowfall have been issued for the next three days. In Gujarat, 20 people lost their lives in incidents of lightning along with heavy rain on Sunday. In several districts of Uttar Pradesh, the presence of clouds has led to an increase in the cold.
