Weather Updates: Rains to prevail over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi

New Delhi: Changes are being seen once again in the weather. The reason for this is the Western Disturbance (Western Disturbance) over Jammu and Kashmir. Whereas cyclonic winds are affected over West Rajasthan.

Rain alert in North India:

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains in the last 2-3 days in most areas of North India have given relief to people from the heat.


According to the Meteorological Department, some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have got relief from the humid rains in the last 2 days and the humid heat from the dust storm. The minimum temperature in these states has seen an average fall of 4 to 5 degrees.

Rain in Delhi:

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of Delhi will be clear today. On May 10, light rain may occur. On its next day, there is a possibility of thunder and rain. On May 13, clouds will rain in the capital.


Talking about western Uttar Pradesh, there are chances of rain for three to four days after May 10. During this time, there will be a drop in temperature.

According to Skymet Weather, heavy to moderate rains may occur over the next 24 hours with light to moderate rains over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala.


Light to moderate rains may occur over Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and parts of Lakshadweep and Odisha. Moderate rains may occur over one or two places with light rains over parts of Western Himalaya, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Madhya Maharashtra. In Punjab and Rajasthan, dust storm and thunderstorm may occur at one or two places.
