Weather Updates: IMD issues rain alert in Delhi-NCR, Bihar sees heavy Rainfall

New Delhi: Monsoon rains are not stopping even after the season. Monsoon used to pack up at the end of September, but this time it would rain till the first week of October. The process of rain is still continuing in North India and South India.

Rain alert in Delhi-NCR:

Post monsoon rains are not taking stopping in Bihar, Bengal, Odisha, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi NCR. The effect of the cyclonic storm is still visible in many states. The Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy rain in some states for the next 24 hours.

There is a possibility of light rain with partly cloudy sky in the national capital Delhi-NCR on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be cloudy sky in Delhi and adjoining areas till October 4. There is a possibility of light rain during this time.

Heavy Rain in Bihar:

Heavy rain continues in Bihar and Jharkhand for the last three days. Heavy rain alert has been issued in all the districts in the next 24 hours. The highest rainfall has been recorded in Muzaffarpur at 233.5 mm. At the same time, Buxar received the least rainfall of 117.5 mm. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of falling hail in many districts of the state. At the same time, on Saturday, it rained intermittently with dense clouds in the sky in its surrounding areas including Patna.

Chance of rain in Himachal Pradesh:

Rains will continue in Himachal. During this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with dark clouds. Apart from this, cloudy sky is expected over most parts of Haryana and Punjab.
