New Delhi: Though cyclone 'Yaas' has weakened after wreaking havoc in the coastal areas of Odisha and Bengal, the storm has reached Jharkhand. Cyclone has entered Jharkhand after midnight.

Yaas cyclone Update:

However, the cyclone speed has slowed down as soon as it enters Jharkhand. According to the report, an alert of heavy rainfall has been issued here in the next 3 hours. Not only this, the effect of this storm is being seen in many states including Bihar, UP. So let us know the current weather of North India.

Rain alert in West Bengal:

Cyclonic storms from the Bay of Bengal caused devastation in the Odisha-Bengal border areas on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of lightning and light to moderate rain in parts of Kolkata, East and West Medinipur districts even today.

Heavy Rain alert in UP:

Talking about the weather of Uttar Pradesh, there may be rain in many areas here today. Here in Bareilly one can see the impact of Yaas storm after Tauktae. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain for three days. Dust storms can also occur at some places with a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.

On the other hand, the impact of Yaas storm can also be seen in Bihar. Torrential rains may occur in Bhagalpur and adjoining areas with strong winds for three days from today. The meteorological department has issued an alert regarding this. Please tell that here on Wednesday morning, there was a cloud of black clouds in the sky.

According to Skymet Weather (Skymetweather.com), the Western Disturbance along with the Yaas storm is still persisting in Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas. Along with this, a cyclonic circulation is stable over the lower levels of central Pakistan and adjoining western Rajasthan, due to which light to moderate rains are likely over Northeast India, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
