Weather Update: Winter season continues in India, Snowfall alert in Himachal, Ladakh

New Delhi: As a seasonal system, a Western Disturbance is in the form of clouds over Jammu and Kashmir. However, this system is considered very weak. Therefore, its effect is going to be limited to the mountainous areas. Therefore, the condition of the clouds is visible over the surrounding areas including Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

Weather Report:

Clouds are also present over some parts of Northeast India. And in the south, a circulation is also forming over the Gulf of Mannar, whose effect is being seen over southern peninsular India and some adjoining parts.

Today, some parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala may see rain. Due to the disturbance in the hill states of North India, there is a possibility of rain and snow in some areas today. Today, mainly dry weather will prevail in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, with a chance of drizzle at some places.

If we talk about the plains of the country, then on January 30, the weather will be clear and dry in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and all its adjoining parts. In all the cities of Punjab and Haryana, whether it is Amritsar or Jalandhar, Pathankot, Ludhiana, Patiala or Faridkot, Fazilka, the weather will be mainly dry in all these areas.

Cold winds in mountains:

Cold winds from north-west direction will blow here. More or less the same conditions will remain in Haryana also. From Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Chandigarh to Kaithal, Jind, the weather will remain dry in other parts as well. Here too the cold winds coming from the mountains will not allow the temperature to go up much, but due to the bright sunshine, normal life will be normal.

In the national capital Delhi also, the wind speed will be between 10-15 kms. Clear weather will be seen from morning till evening. In all these areas of Churu, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Alwar, Bhilwara and Jaipur, Bharatpur and other parts of Rajasthan, the temperature will remain below normal due to north-westerly cold winds. But, due to the sunshine, the day temperature has started going up in Rajasthan.

The weather is likely to remain dry over the states of Northeast India. In Arunachal Pradesh, there is a possibility of cloudy sky and rain at some places. In Central India also, there are no signs of any change as compared to yesterday.
